The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign rally in Anambra State was a bloody affair on Friday, as 3 people laid dead.
This was also confirmed by James Eze, Special Senior Assistant to the Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano.

alleged that a combined team of Police and Soldiers guarding the APC
Governorship candidate, Tony Nwoye, and other visiting Governors in
Anambra, opened fire on protesters.
According to an eyewitness, trouble
started when youths in the area tried blocking the road to show their
displeasure over the killings of IPOB members in Abia State.
The eyewitness also stated that at least 3 people have been confirmed dead and several others wounded.
It was also learnt that the youths stormed the area after the APC campaign team had left, and started burning tyres, chanting “no election in Anambra State”.

Recall, that Vice
President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Minister Of
Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, were at the campaign rally.
