It was tension soaked in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Headquarters, in Abuja, as the Supreme Court announced its readiness to deliver judgement on Wednesday, July 12.
The judgement to be delivered is in the suit between PDP’s faction, led by Ali Modu-Sheriff, and the Ahmed Makarfi-led group.

A statement by Chinwe I. Nnorom, Admin Head, Publicity Division of the Makarfi-led group, said the judgment would be delivered at THE Supreme Court of Nigeria premises, FCT, Abuja, by 9:00 am.
He called on teeming members and supporters who were willing to attend, to do so in solidarity with the PDP.
Reacting, the former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Bode George, has vowed to quit politics, if the Supreme Court affirms Ali Modu-Sheriff, as Chairman of the party.
